East Durham Pie Company began in owner Ali Rudel's certified kitchen in her home on East Main Street. In just a few short months word got around town and Ali's pie's were voted as finalists for Indy Week's Best of the Triangle "Best Pie in Durham". As demand grew for Ali's delicious pie's, she's now looking to open a Bakery and Cafe space in Old East Durham. East Durham Pie is committed to using local ingredients, paying a livable wage, and simply providing a place were neighbors can get together. Getting to know Ali and her sweet family was a special treat in making this video.
